Barry Callebaut IM was due to renew its contracts for delivery of application services – both project services and support. It enlisted the services of S-Square to help Barry Callebaut define its sourcing strategy, and to select and contract the right set of service providers.
S-Square started by first helping us define our sourcing/ vendor strategy. Through their Partnership Benchmark, they have a deep understanding of the different service providers – which they used to define a shortlist, saving us time and effort by avoiding an RFI process. It was a good mix of western and Indian players and they helped us better understand the strengths and weaknesses of each company.
They came up with a top quality RFP document and a well structured process that allowed collaboration and open communication with the service providers. The process gave us sufficient time for interactive workshops allowing us to get a better view on the candidate providers.
They worked in a collaborative manner with our internal management team. They helped us focus on the right questions, and guided our team throughout the process. They helped us to produce a top quality contract and together we met every single milestone that was defined at the start of the RFP process.
