Geert is a cofounder at S-Square and has had a career that spans over 35 years in the IT industry, He is a senior outsourcing expert, who has been shaping and delivering large, global IT outsourcing contracts. He is a true expert in the change needed in the internal IT organization to operate in an environment with strategic service providers, e.g. SIAM best practices.
Over the last couple of years he has been engaged at clients in either IT sourcing strategy exercises or full IT sourcing transformation journeys. E.g at Mazda Motor Europe Geert started with driving the IT sourcing strategy, then helping to put a multi-lot RFP on the market and coming to contract with three Managed Service Providers (MSPs). Post contract signing Geert acted as the transformation lead to help the internal IT team and the three MSPs stabilize their governance and operating under a new model
Prior to S-Square, Geert spend 27 years at Accenture where he had leadership roles in IT outsourcing. Geert lives in Belgium, where he was born and raised, but professionally has travelled the world in his outsourcing role. Still today he loves travelling and he keeps fit with cycling.
Vikrant is a cofounder at S-Square and has had a career that spans over 20 years in the IT services industry. He is a senior advisor to the CIO on sourcing and vendor strategy and on vendor selection and contracting. He has a deep understanding of the service provider landscape and drives our Partnership Benchmark process.
Over the last few years, he has been the trusted advisor to several of our larger clients such as Agfa, Barry Callebaut, Bekaert, Daikin and Umicore. His area of expertise includes applications, cloud and infrastructure, and end user services. Analytical and hands-on, he is deeply skilled at market relevant pricing, commercial models, and contract negotiation and drafting.
Prior to S-Square, he spent 15+ years at Accenture and TCS in a sales lead role, where he led shaping, contracting and negotiation of several large outsourcing contracts.
Vikrant in based in Belgium and is a competitive badminton player. He is a keen reader and also likes to track the market evolution of the primary IT service providers.
Sunil Basavaiah has more than 20 years of experience in the IT Industry delivering projects and solutions to customers. He has held key roles in leading IT companies like Capgemini & HP successfully architecting and leading multi-tower outsourcing deals across Europe.
Sunil assists clients in designing and delivering end-to-end IT sourcing solutions starting from RFPs to contracting. Collaborating with client and service providers he has delivered successful applications outsourcing engagement. He is well versed in application support, transformation and S/4 HANA conversion deals. He also works on cloud migration and infrastructure RFPs.
As part of the Partnership Benchmark he evaluates service provider portfolios and offers. He is keenly interested on cloud topics and actively researches emerging cloud technologies.
Alistair has over 20 years experience in IT outsourcing and managed services, bringing critical knowledge around the cloud and infrastructure elements (data centre, end user workplace, service desk, security and public cloud). Alistair combines the supplier and customer perspective, having experienced both sides in senior roles, and knowing how to get the best from your supplier relationships.
At S-Square Alistair has led several infrastructure procurements, defining target operating models, engaging with suppliers, running RFI, RFP and negotiating contracts. E.g. at Radisson Hotels Group the customer engaged us during the RFI for their SAP Cloud migration and Alistair was able accelerate the process with our contract blueprints and experience to meet their important transformation deadline and in parallel led a process with the public cloud providers to select the preferred platform and maximise value for Radisson across their business.
Before S-Square Alistair worked for HP and Atos, being one of their leading international solution architects for their largest global deals. He has led transformations for customers such as IAG, BP, ENI, Rolls-Royce and Unilever including cloud transformation, legacy infrastructure migration, global service desk and onsite services transformationand is TOGAF certified Alistair lives in the UK, enjoys travel, cycling and occasionally working on cars.
Varsha is a TOGAF certified Enterprise Architect with over 20 years of experience in IT consulting, enterprise architecture and specialization in Digital Workplace, Infrastructure & Cloud management, Network services and ISO20K audits.
Prior to joining S-Square, Varsha has worked at global service organizations like Fujitsu, NTT and Accenture. In her role as the enterprise solution architect, she designed and contracted end-to-end solutions in her speciality domains. She is deeply skilled in crafting SOWs, SLA and pricing frameworks.
Varsha is based in Gurgaon, India and is an advocate of animal rights and works as an animal rescuer as a registered member of the animal welfare board of India.
Ellen is the marketing lead for S-Square and responsible for coordinating the Partnership Benchmark interviews and the S-Square annual event. With a background in accounting, marketing, tourism, and real estate, she began her career at ABInBev, gaining valuable experience in financial analysis and planning. Later, she transitioned into freelancing, focusing on diverse projects in IT and real estate, primarily in supportive roles that enhance team performance, within HR, marketing, and communication.
Living in Dubai for two years helped her broaden her my cultural perspectives and adaptability. She has a deep passion for travel, particularly exploring Asia and South America. In her free time, she indulges in reading Paulo Coelho’s works, spending quality time with friends, immersing herself in nature, and cycling. As a dedicated mother of two wonderful children, she brings empathy, strong organizational skills, and a knack for multitasking.
